SCOUT AND GUIDE

The Scouting and Guiding mission is to contributes children education, through a value system. This is based on a Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world such that people are self-sustained as individuals and they play a key role in building a constructive society. In Springdales Senior Secondary School Scouting and guiding develops the quality of good citizenship, leadership, trustworthiness in our students. We have inculcated four aims of scouting and guiding. The first aim is the formation of character, The second aim is the formation of sound health habits. It is the training in the handicraft and acquiring of useful skills and fourth is the cultivation of a proper spirit of service effectively. The pursuit of this aim leads to the development of good citizenship among boys and girls.In our school students are learning by doing. The training and exposure at Scouting makes you them dependent, disciplined and definately a good citizen. Students can also pursue different proficiency courses and improve their skills.

Students also attend all the camps related to scout and guide in our school and get certificates for the same. Students also participate in various rallies and programmes organized by scout and guides such as “Swatcha Bharat Abhiyan Drive” “Clean India Green India” time to time and get exposure in the society. 

The Rajya puruskar and the Rashtrapati award is not like a degree certificate which not only helps them to get a job or state their academic achievement, but it is more like a extracurricular achievement which is definately a value addition to your life.
